Title:
HIGH-FREQUENCY SWITCH CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3147819
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of single port-multiport switch for a selector antenna by serially connecting PIN diodes which need to have current flow through and are connected in parallel in terms of a direct current with them connected in parallel in terms of a high frequency.
SOLUTION: When the switch of a PORT1 is 'ON' and the other PORTS are 'OFF', a terminal V1+ which corresponds to the anodes of PIN diodes X11 and X12 and a terminal V1- which corresponds to cathodes are set as ground potential, the PIN diode terminal V2+ of a PORT2 is +2V, a terminal V2- is connected to a terminal V3+, and a terminal V3- is grounded. PIN diodes X21 and X22 of the PORT2 and PIN diodes X31 and X32 of a PORT3 are separately and serially connected in terms of a direct current, and power which is consumed by voltage drop such as resistance can be applied to the PIN diodes that constitute switches.
