Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform quietly unloading without flawing and deflecting a long material by constituting a fork part of an endless belt and an auxiliary belt turned in a reverse direction to each other associated with retracting the fork part.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for holding a long material 4 unloaded cooperatively by juxtaposing a plurality of fork units 1, each fork 1 has a moving unit 14 longitudinally moved on a rail 8 and a lift unit 2 held onto this moving unit 14. Upper and lower surfaces of a fork part 3 mounted on the lift unit 2 are constituted of an endless belt 26 and an auxiliary endless belt 28, turned in a reverse direction to each other, and driven by gears 23, 24, meshed with a rack 9 mounted along the rail 8, at the time of lowering down the fork part 3. In this way, the long scaled material is loaded on the endless belt 26, turned on a pallet while retracting the endless belt 26 and unloaded in a manner wherein the long scaled material is placed in a position left as it is.
