Abstract:
To eliminate clogging in a filter cloth and to prevent a side leakage of a raw material slurry.
The long net making apparatus comprises a slurry supply unit arranged above an apparatus body having an endless filter cloth moving to circulate to supply a raw material slurry. The supply unit is opened at its lower end and provided with a slurry outlet at its lower end disposed in an advancing direction front side of the cloth and with a gate brought into contact with the cloth at the lower end except the outlet. In this case, as the cloth, a filter cloth 2 formed only at both right and left side ends brought into contact with the gate in a felt-like state 9 and at the other area formed of a woven fabric 10 is provided.
