Abstract:

To suppress the increase of the coating weight of slag or the like in the vicinity of the lower edge of a long nozzle.

In the long nozzle discharging molten steel from a ladle to a tundish, at least over the upper region than the upper edge position of an immersion part (the region to the upper face of a melt layer when the long nozzle is immersed into the melt within the tundish) from the lower edge of the long nozzle, the inner hole diameter on the cross-section in the horizontal direction of the long nozzle is expanded in the lower edge direction, and the outer diameter is reduced in the lower edge direction.
