The apparatus includes a carrying means 20. The carrying means 20 is attached to a support frame 3 so that a space for carrying out downwards objects P to be bound is defined between a body 14 supporting a binding arm 13 and a tape holder stand 15 holding the end of tape T. The carrying means 20 carries the objects P on a placing table 17 to the binding position, and carries out the objects P bound with the tape in the binding position, in a downward direction from the binding position. The apparatus also includes a rotating means 30 which grips the objects P bound with the tape in the binding position and rotates the bound objects P on a receiving plate 18 located in the binding position.
