The long short composite woven fabric which is a double texture woven fabric in whose both warp and weft directions hydrophilic spun yarns and hydrophobic multi-filament yarns are alternately arranged is characterized in that the hydrophilic spun yarns are thicker than the hydrophobic multi-filament yarns in both the warp and weft directions. Especially, such a double texture that the side contacting with the skin of a wearer among the sides of the woven fabric draws a dot pattern, such as a double mat weave, is preferably adopted. The thicknesses of the yarns in different directions are especially not limited. For example, when the hydrophilic spun yarns in the warp direction are compared with the hydrophobic multi-filament yarns in the weft direction, it may be allowed that any yarn is thicker than the others.
