Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor for the packaging work of a long sized article, and improve the efficiency by providing a packaging body covering means wherein the outer peripheral edge of a packaging body which is laid on a mounting part, is rolled up, and the whole body of the outer peripheral surface of the long sized article is covered under a state being surrounded.
SOLUTION: A packaging body F and a pipe group B are carried to a packaging position which is set on a conveyor 3, and both edge parts is the longer edge sides of the packaging body F are gripped and uniformly rolled up in the right and left by right and left respective gripping members 59, 60 by sinchronously driving respective rolling up machines 7, and both edge parts in the longer edge sides of the packaging body F are brought closer in the width direction above the area where they are confronted with the upper peripheral surfaces of the pipe group B, and the mounting position and the mounting posture of the pipe group B are corrected. Then, lower areas of both side surfaces of the packaging body F which is rolled up by synchronously driving right and left, respective members 73, 74 of a closing machine, are pressed and heat-welded in the length direction. In addition, the pipe group B is fed in order to a rolling machine and the closing machine, and openings on the front and rear ends of the packaging body F are pressed into a flat state, and heat-welded, and a plurality of binding bodies are wound around the total length of the outer peripheral surface with specified intervals, and integrally tied and fixed.
