Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a long-sized tubular container by which airtightness test can be safely and easily performed, inexpensively in a short term of works by bonding a plurality of drum tubes by laser welding with low distortion.
CONSTITUTION: Drum tubes 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d are butt-joined in the axial direction, and bonded by laser welding. In the vicinity of the bonded part, a local airtight chamber 18 is provided by a ring 14 and sealing members 15a, 15b, and a hole 16 which communicates with the local airtight chamber is provied on the drum tubes and is used at the time of air tightness test. After the air tightness test, the hole 16 is sealed.
