Title:
LONGITUDINALLY NON-TEARING SHEET AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP04364949
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To dissolve a tendency wherein a tear of a sheet-like product obtd. by rolling of a crystalline thermoplastic resin tends to run in the rolling direction.

CONSTITUTION: A raw sheet (with a thickness of 1.230mm and a haze of 68%) obtd. by fusing and laminating a net made of a polypropylene fiber. [with a thread counts in the longitudinal and transverse directions of each 14 threads of 100 denier yarns/inch and strengths both in the longitudinal and transverse directions of each 7kgf/5cm] as a reinforcing core material on a sheet (with a thickness of 500μm) of a propylene homopolymer [with an MFR (at 230°C) of 0.8-g/10min] and laminating furthermore a layer of the same propylene homopolymer on the reinforcing core material, is rolled under a pressing rate of 73% at 130°C. The haze is improved thereby up to 9.4% after rolling and the longitudinal tearing (which means a property where tearing runs in the rolling direction) is substantially dissolved.
