To provide a loom capable of properly regulating tension even if driving cycles of a heddle and a reed are changed.
The loom 1 is equipped with a delivery motor 27 for rotating a warp beam 3 in the direction for delivering warp yarns V from the warp beam 3, the heddle 10 for opening or closing the warp yarns N delivered from the warp beam 3, the reed 13 for beating a weft yarn H inserted to the opening of the warp yarns V by a weft-inserting device 11, a surface motor 61 for rotating a surface roller 17 for pulling in a woven fabric W formed by the warp yarns and weft yarns beaten by the reed 13, a position-detector 35 for detecting the tension of the warp yarns, and an adaptation filter part 83 for filtering the tension detected by the position detector 35. The loom 1 also has a controller 25 for controlling the delivery motor 27 and the surface motor 61 so that the tension of the warp yarns V may be a target tension based on the tensions filtered by the adaptation filter part 83.
