Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate miss selection of yarn and to improve reliability by controlling movement in the length direction and of tongues connected to each of several feeders gripping the each weft yarn with a pair of actuators capable of selective movement.

CONSTITUTION: This loom has such mechanism as connecting one end of a tongue 12 with a ring 17 through a slide rod 16 and engaging a lug 12a' formed at another end of the tongue 12 with a dent part 13' of a slide 13 wherein the tongue 12 is situated in a space between two actuators 11 and 11' confronting each other and selectively movable and the ring 17 drives a feeder 18 of the weft yarn 1'. When the slide 13 is moved in the direction of an allow 14' with a lever 14 attached to the slide 13 through a eccentric driver, one actuator 11 is actuated and when the lever 14 reaches the end position, the actuator 11 stops and the other actuator 11' is urged and so each feeder 18 is selectively displaced.
