Abstract:
The heddle frame consists of two uprights and two crossmembers (6), each of the latter being equipped with a connector (8) shaped to engage with the corresponding end of a heddle (10). Each connector is made from folded sheet metal of constant thickness (preferably of 1mm) and is fitted with a shock absorber (12) facing the opposite surface of the heddle and fixed in place by adhesive or by interlocking surfaces. The shock absorbers are made from a supple material such as a polymer or elastomer.
