To provide a loop clutch minimizing the deformation of a hook part even if a large tension is applied to the hook part.
This loop clutch comprises a body 2 and a slider 3 slidably attached to the body. The body has the hook part 2 with an opening 21 at one end. The slider is slidable between a first position for opening the opening and a second position for closing it and has an elastically deformable engagement piece 51 at the one end. The loop clutch further comprises an engagement means 54 for engaging the end of the hook part with the end of the engagement piece when the slider is slid to the second position. The engagement means comprises a recessed part 22 formed at the end of the hook part, and a projecting part 53 formed at the end of the engagement piece. The recessed part and the projected part are recessed and are projected in the direction perpendicular to the sliding direction of the slider, respectively.
