Abstract:
To provide a high-performance loop heat pipe that facilitates mass production, and to provide an electronic instrument using the same.
An evaporator 31 of the loop heat pipe includes: a wick 43 being a porous body which working fluid of a liquid phase can infiltrate and having an outer peripheral surface inclined to the center axis; and a heat transfer block 42 having an inner space for storing the wick 43 and including a slope contacting with the outer peripheral surface in the inner space. Additionally, in the evaporator 31, a pressing member 46 is arranged for pressing the wick 43 to make the outer peripheral surface of the wick 43 adhere to the slope of the heat transfer block 42.
