Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop lock and a connecting chain member which makes it possible for a spirally wound coil to restore its shape without losing its restoring force even when the expansion and contraction are repeated.SOLUTION: A loop lock according to the present invention includes: an elongated connecting chain member having a coil portion that can be expanded and contracted in a longitudinal direction; and a pair of engaging portions disposed at both ends of the connecting chain member. The loop lock becomes in a locked state with a loop configuration by engaging the pair of engaging portions. The coil portion has a wire serving as a core material and a synthetic resin layer covering the wire, and the coil portion has at its outer edge a corner part. Further, the connecting chain member according to the present invention is in the form of an elongated connecting chain member having a coil portion capable of expanding and contracting in the longitudinal direction, the coil portion having a wire serving as a core material and a synthetic resin layer covering the wire, and the coil portion having at its outer edge a corner part. It is preferable that the cross section of the coil portion is triangular, rectangular, or semicircular.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
