PURPOSE: To eliminate a faulty frame such as a floating frame, etc. as well as the erasion residue of a frame, by transmitting consecutively a specific pattern which has no effect to the transmission of data until the 2nd specific pattern comes back to a specific station after having a round along a loop transmission line.
CONSTITUTION: The diagram shows a master station which realizes a transmit- ting system. A G detector 23 detects a specific pattern S which comes back after having one round along a loop transmission line 1 and then erases a reception pattern S of a receiving shift register 25 through an erasing device 24. At the same time, the transmission of a time fill code E is discontinued by an E transmitter 22. The transmitter 22 transmits continuously the code E until the transmission of the code E discontinued. A G detector 26 detects a pattern G and then erases the received pattern G via the device 24 and the register 25 as well as transmits specific patterns S and G via an S/G transmitter 21. Then the code E is transmitted by the transmitter 22.
