PURPOSE: To decrease the processing time for contention control by sending a specific data code from each control station (CST) after the end of phase locking after the sending of time fill and detecting the code so as to be transited to the mode according to a predetermined weighting.
CONSTITUTION: A signal from a transmission line 7 is fetched in a demodulator 11 via a receiver 10 of the CST and a clock signal is extracted by a clock extracting device 12 and fed to data detectors 13,14 and a loop control data detector 15. Simultaneously, a lock signal is generated by the clock extracting device 12 and the result is fed to a CST control section 16. A demodulation data fetched by the receiver 10 is fetched by the data detectors 13∼15 and stored in registers 18∼20 via the CST control section 16. The output of the registers 18∼20 is modulated by a modulator 22 and sent to the transmission line 7 via a transmitter 22.
