PURPOSE: To permit application for a various sorts of band shaped material and permit the adjustment between wound layers and permit high-speed winding by continuously arranging the inside wound layers into multilayer form so that the diameter of the inside wound layer becomes smaller than that of the contiguous outside wound layer.
CONSTITUTION: A band-shaped member 11 is sent, interposed between the first and the second driving rollers 12 and 13. Each peripheral surface of the rollers 12 and 13 is applied with a rubber layer for generating a frictional force, and the interval can be adjusted. The member 11 is sent at a constant speed from the right to the left by the rollers 12 and 13, and an outermost wound-up layer 31 is formed with the member 11 which passes through the rollers 12 and 13, by revolving the top edge part 21 of the member 11. The outside wound layer 31 is sent at a constant speed by the rollers 12 and 13 and interposed again between the rollers 12 and 13, and the winding diameter of the wound layer 31 on the outermost side can be maintained always constant.
