Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a fine cable and a thick cable together to a fine cable connector by forming a pressure contact piece so as to be kept in pressed contact with and connected to the pressure contact piece of the pressure contact provided in the fine cable connector.
SOLUTION: A thick cable crimp contact 21 is formed out of a crimp part 211 for crimping the conductor 221 of a thick cable 22, and approximately plate type pressure contact piece 212 jointed to one end of the crimp part 211, a clamp part 213 for clamping a thick cable 22, and the like. The thick cable crimp contact 21 is connected to a fine cable connector, together with a fine cable, after exposing the conductor 221 via the removal of an insulation cover 222 at one end of the thick cable 22 and then crimping the conductor 221 to the crimp part 211. As a result, the fine cable and the thick cable 22 can be connected together, thereby reducing a work time and allowing the use of a cable connector having a good harnessing function.
