Abstract:
To provide a low friction slide mechanism using hard carbon material and grease demonstrating excellent low friction characteristics.
This slide mechanism is provided with a sliding member sliding under existence of grease containing ester oil or ether oil as base oil. At least one of slide parts of the slide members is coated by hard carbon coating, and the hard carbon coating contains 20 atom% or less hydrogen. Thickener of the grease is metallic soap containing calcium or lithium or aurea compound.
