Title:
LOW LIGHT LEVEL ILLUMINATION FOR ROTATING OBJECTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010052732
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a low light level illumination for rotary blades capable of suppressing an accident on the ground effectively and illuminating a propeller without extracting an energy from a vehicle or a device.

The low light level illumination is applied to the rotary blades (102, 202) for vehicles, which enhances the visibility and minimizes land accidents. Either photoluminescent paint (208) or photoluminescent thin film (104) may be affixed to the rotary blades (102, 202) in use to help deter accidents. An electroluminescent thin film (509) may be integrated into a future rotary blade (502) in order to prevent the vehicle from being detected and attacked and to provide a better visibility.
