Title:
LOW-NOISE AXIAL PLUNGER MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62174579
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
Axial piston machines have the disadvantage of a high noise level, caused by the very high accelerations and forces occurring within them, which have to be absorbed for example by the screwed joints of the casing. The present invention reduces the noise generation of axial piston machines which are constructed in a pot-shaped casing with a fixed-on cover and in which the swash plate is fixed on a cradle supported in a bearing with a semicylindrical cavity, the axis of the cylinder of the cavity being perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the cavity. The intended effect occurs because the casing cover, which is of more than average thickness and stability, is not screwed onto the top edge of the casing but either to the bottom of the casing or to the bearing of the swash plate cradle.
