Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain noise characteristic which is comfortable to humans and to decrease audible sound volume by varying the pulse modulation of carrier modulation or inversion cycles of a rotating vector sequence, so that a frequency component which brings a disturbing high frequency is reduced or eliminated. CONSTITUTION: A result to a pulse pattern can essentially be foreseen, and a carrier signal is modulated with a defined function, so that the amplitude and frequency of a harmonic of an inverter output voltage can be calculated precisely. An electric machine 2 is fed with electricity by a three-phase inverter 1, which consists of six switching elements 3. A modulator 4 determines the switching pulses of the switching element 3 by comparing a modulated signal sta ,b ,c with the carrier signal IH. A voltage ua ,b ,c is an inverter output voltage, a stator voltage is u1 a,b,c, and a star-shaped zero point is U0 , and a voltage ud rises when a half Ud/2 of an input direct voltage is switched to an output which has a positive or a negative sign.
