Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce pattern noise of a specific frequency when a vehicle travels at a specific speed, by setting a length of the circumference of a circle of each opening end in horizontal grooves which joint longitudinal grooves extending in a circumferential direction to a specific ratio of a pitch length of the horizontal grooves arranged in parallel. CONSTITUTION:There are provided each two longitudinal groves 2A, 2B extending in a circumferential direction on both sides of a tire equator C. There are also provided horizontal groove 3 at a prescribed pitch length P between the longitudinal grooves 2A confronting the tire equator disposed therebetween, the horizontal groove 3 being directed diagonally up to the left with respect to the tire equator. Further, there are provided respective horizontal grooves 4, 5 directed up to the right at a pitch length P in a circumferential direction between the longitudinal grooves 2A and the longitudinal grooves 2B on the outside of a shoulder portion. With the arrangement, there are formed block trains 6A-6C composed of diamond-shaped block 6 on a tread surface. At the time, a length DELTAX1 in a circumferential direction between the openings 3A-5A, 3B-5B of respective ends is set to 0.375-0.625 times of each pitch length.
