To provide a low permeation member for fuel and coolant superior in interlayer adhesion and low permeability for fuel and coolant, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.
The low permeation member for fuel and coolant is formed by forming an interlayer 2 having an inorganic oxide film on the outer face of an inner face 1 comprising at least one of polyphenylene sulfide and fluorine-based resin, and by forming an outer layer 3 comprising a polyamide-based resin of a high amino value or a rubber composition having the following A-D as the essential components on the outer side of the interlayer 2. The outer face of the inner layer 1 is reformed by plasma treatment, and the inorganic oxide film is deposited on the reformed surface by a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method or a physical vapor deposition (PVD) method: (A) at least one of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer and ethylene-propylene copolymer, (B) a peroxide vulcanizing agent, (C) a resorcinol-based compound, and (D) melamine resin.
