Abstract:
To provide a low-pressure casting device improved in productivity.SOLUTION: A low-pressure casting device, having a cavity 21 formed including a first die 11 and a second die 12 and a runner connected to the cavity 21 so as to pour a molten metal, comprises: a vent 14 that is at an outside of the cavity 21 established by the first die 11 or the second die 12, faces the runner and can introduce external pressure; and a valve 15 that switches the state between introduction and shutoff of external pressure from the vent 14. In a closure state of the first die 11 and the second die 12, when the molten metal after poured becomes a predetermined solidified state, external pressure is introduced from the vent 14 by opening the valve 15 and a molten metal in the runner is moved depending on the external pressure, thereby decoupling between a molten metal in a solidified state in the cavity 21 and a molten metal in an unsolidified state in the runner outside the cavity 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
