To provide a low pressure casting apparatus with which molten metal can be supplied into a holding furnace in a low pressure caster without transporting the molten metal with a ladle etc., and the molten metal can accurately be supplied according to the consumption of one shot and the saving of consumed energy and the miniaturization of the apparatus can be obtained.
The low pressure casting apparatus has the peculiarity, in which a pouring basin succeeded to a molten metal tapping hole in an induction heating type one shot melting furnace and the holding furnace in the low pressure caster are connected through a tapping device of molten metal for opening/closing a gate part for opening/closing a molten metal supplying hole in this holding furnace.
