The base member is constituted in an integral structure for providing a core structure and plural terminal structures. The electric coil is arranged around the core structure for providing plural lead structures to be mounted by the terminal structures for electric mounting in the circuit. This method for manufacturing a low profile transformer equipped with at least the electric coil and the plural terminal structures and the base member having plural terminal sites comprises a step for assembling the electric coil structure and the base member (a), a step for mounting the plural electric terminal structures by at least some of the plural terminal sites, and a step for providing plural electric terminal positions for the inside connection of an electric circuit.
