Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare a low-cost, low-protein feed which can be used for the cultivation of fish in the same manner as the conventional high-protein feed, by using alpha-form grains as carbohydrate source.

CONSTITUTION: Feed containing alpha-form grains, especially alpha-form barley, and containing ≤40% of crude protein. The feed is useful for the cultivation of fishes, shellfishes, crustaceans, etc., e.g. red sea breams, black progies, common nibblers, carp, etc.
