Title:
LOW RADIATION SKIN MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3760837
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low radiation skin material which restrains a temperature rise of an interior trim material due to a visible light and a near infrared light and controls the radiation of heat to the interior of a room or a crew member following the yet unavoidably generated temperature rise of the interior trim material and nevertheless, does not adversely affect the design properties required for the interior trim and the interior trim material based on the low radiation skin material.
SOLUTION: This low radiation skin material is structured of a design layer consisting of a fibrous body containing 60 mass% or more of bright yarn, a reflective layer which reflects a visible light, a near infrared light or a far infrared light and a support layer which supports the reflective layer. Thus the skin material allows the transmission of the visible light, the near infrared light or the far infrared light with the use of the fibrous body containing the transparent bright yarn in the design layer. Consequently, the temperature rise of the interior trim material can be restrained and the radiation heat controlled by reflecting the light with the help of the reflective layer.
