Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a low slidable glass rand for automobile which does not increase the frictional resistance even in the case where dust is sucked, absorbs a large load which is not predetermined in designing, and possesses the excellent durability.

CONSTITUTION: As for a low slidable glass rand for automobile is constituted so that fiber strips 2 are formed integrally at the basic bottom part of a glass rand 1, and a coated layer 4 containing the fiuorine group oil is formed at a lip part. The manufacturing method of the low slidable glass rand for automobile consists of the first process in which the rubber elastic material is extrusion- molded and vulcanized, the second process in which the fiber strips are supplied to the basic bottom part in the high temperature state after vulcanization, and the fiber strips are press-attached on the basic bottom part, and the third process in which the low frictional coefficient paint is applied on the lip part and thermal processing is carried out.
