Abstract:

To provide a low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose powder with high bondability, good flowability, and excellent disintegration.

The low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose powder has an average particle size of 10 to 100 μm, a specific surface area of at least 1.0 m2/g measured by BET method, and an elastic recovery rate of 7% or less when molded at a compression pressure of 50 Mpa.
