PURPOSE: To obtain excellent workability at forming of Al/Al alloy extruded shape in particular for a case hard to work as well as a material to be formed having a complicated cross section.

CONSTITUTION: For Al/Al alloy extruded shape, after the lubricating oil consisting of essentially of paraffin having 50cst viscosity at 40°C or consisting of essentially of ester having -50 to -150°C pour point and 50cst viscosity at 40°C is coated on an extruded shape the extruded shape is cooled and formed at a temp. of the extruded shape in a range of -50 to -150°C.
