Title:
LOW-TEMPERATURE DISCHARGE OF COKE FROM OVEN IN COKE PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07113087
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress the scattering of a coalite temperature during low- temperature carbonization and low-temperature discharge and to enable smooth pushing of coalite out of a carbonization chamber by controlling the actual flue temperature in connection with the objective flue temperature in the carbonization of charged coal in a chamber coke oven.

CONSTITUTION: Charged coal is carbonized in a chamber coke oven 1 at a low temperature and the produced coalite is discharged from the oven and charged by a coalite-charging apparatus 5 into a prechamber 10 of a CDQ 6 and carbonized to coke. An objective flue temperature is set to minimize the difference between the target coalite temperature and the actual coalite temperature, the actual flue temperature is controlled based on the target flue temperature to complete the carbonization at 600-900°C while suppressing the scattering of the coalite temperature in discharge and the produced coke is discharged from the oven.
