Abstract:

To reduce electric power consumption for an antisweating heater and simplify the management of components for the antisweating heater by a method wherein the antisweating heater is energized by the on-output of an on/off control means for a compressor while the energization of the antisweating heater is stopped by the off-output of the same.

Cooling air (shown by full line arrow signs) cools a commodity displaying chamber 3 by being sent out of an air outlet port 15 from the suction port 11 of a low-temperature showcase 1 through the cooling passage 13 in a rear part and the ceiling of the showcase 1 and forms an air curtain in the fore surface part of the display chamber 3, then, is sucked into a cold air passage 5 through the suction port 11 again. Upon the cooling operation of the showcase 1, the on/off control means of the compressor is judged whether an on-output is outputted or not and when an on-output is outputted, the antisweating heater 50 is energized, and the energization of the antisweating heater 50 is stopped when an off-output is outputted. According to this method, the electric power consumption of the antisweating heater 50 can be reduced by such a control.
