Abstract:

To produce a low-temperature sinterable potassium-zinc-silicate glass capable of preparing a coating, a thin-wall coating or a thin-wall dental crown with a glass ceramic core and having satisfactory dimensional stability and high porosity in a wide temperature range in treatment by sintering, and to provide a dental material containing the glass.

The low-temperature sinterable potassium-zinc-silicate glass contains 60.0-72.0 wt.% SiO2, 1.0-5.0 wt.% Li2O, 10.0-23.0 wt.% K2O and 8.5-20.0 wt.% ZnO.
