PURPOSE: To improve the starting performance on cold start by installing a control valve and a cold starter injector in a bypass passage connected to the front side of a throttle valve, in the constitution in which the suction pipe of each cylinder is connected with a surge tank having a throttle valve at the inlet.

CONSTITUTION: A suction hole 2 which has an injector 3 and is opened into each cylinder is connected through a suction pipe 4 with a surge tank 5 having a throttle valve 6 at the inlet. A bypass passage 7 is installed so as to make a detour around the surge tank 5, and the inlet of the bypass passage 7 is connected to the front side of the throttle valve 6. A control valve 8 and a cold start injector 9 are arranged in succession in the bypass passage 7, and the downstream side of the injector 9 is branched according to the number of cylinders, and connected with the suction pipe 4 of each cylinder. On the cold temperature start, the control valve 8 is opened according to the temperature and the cooling water temperature, and in cranking, fuel is jetted from the cold start injector 9.
