Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the noise physically felt by occupants by efficiently intercepting vibration from a portion where the degree of contribution of noise transmitted to a cabin is high.

CONSTITUTION: The lower structure of an automobile comprises a chassis frame P1; and a body P3 containing a cabin forming part P2. An intermediate frame P5 having a given inlet is disposed to at least either the front or the rear of the chassis frame P1 to which a suspension or an engine P4 is attached. The chassis frame P1 and the intermediate frame P5, and the intermediate frame P5 and the body P3 are intercoupled through resilient bodies P6 and P7, respectively.
