Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a lowly foaming transparent detergent which has improved degreasing and penetrating power by mixing a specific nonionic surfactant, an aliphatic carboxylic acid, and water.
CONSTITUTION: 1-20wt.% nonionic surfactant represented by the formula (wherein R is cyclohexyl; n is 2-3; and m+p is 1-10) and 1-20wt.% 6-12C aliphatic carboxylic acid are dissolved in water, if necessary along with a chelating agent, a corrosion inhibitor, an anti-foaming agent, etc., to obtain the title detergent. It is diluted with water to a concentration of 1-10wt.% when used for the degreasing of metallic, ceramic, glass, plastic, or other material.
