Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing apparatus enabled to produce lowly phosphorous rice by applying a vertical shaft type grain cleaning machine of high versatility, and a method for producing lowly phosphorus rice by using said apparatus.SOLUTION: A grain cleaning apparatus is characterized by comprising: a vertical shaft type grain cleaning machine 1 including a grinding type milling part 2 and a friction type milling part 3 for processing the rice R discharged from below the grinding type milling part 2; and a grain cleaning circuit 4 for returning the rice R discharged from said friction type milling part 3, to said grinding type milling part 2. At this time, it is preferred that two or more said grain cleaning circuits are disposed in parallel, and that at least one grain cleaning circuit is equipped with a cooling tank 5.
