Abstract:

To provide a lubricant additive and a lubricant composition comprising the same, wherein the lubricant additive has excellent solubility in a lubricant base oil, can increase thermal conductivity of a lubricant, and can improve cooling properties of the lubricant composition.SOLUTION: A lubricant additive comprises a (co)polymer (A) whose essential constituent monomer is a (meth)acrylate monomer (a) having a mesogenic structure in a molecule, wherein a SP value of the (co)polymer (A) is 8.50 to 9.50 (cal/cm3)1/2.SELECTED DRAWING: None
