Abstract:
To provide a lubricant composition for an automobile transmission capable of improving fuel economy performance, that has an excellent temperature-viscosity property, that is, an oil film retention property at high temperatures and a low-temperature viscosity property, and maintains performance continuously during long-term use.SOLUTION: A lubricant composition for an automobile transmission having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 4 to 10 mm2/s comprises: a lubricant base oil consisting of a mineral oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 2 to 8 mm2/s, a viscosity index of 90 or more, and a pour point of 0°C or less, and/or, a synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 2 to 8 mm2/s, a viscosity index of 110 or more, and a pour point of -30°C or less; and an ethylene-α-olefin co-polymer having ethylene mole content in the range of 30 to 70 mol %, rotational viscosity at 150°C of 200 to 8,000 mPa*s, Hazen chromaticity of 30 or less, molecular weight distribution of (Mw/Mn) of 2.5 or less, and a B value of 1.1 or greater.SELECTED DRAWING: None
