To obtain a lubricant composition suitable for a motor for driving a magnetic recorder, capable of preventing friction/abrasion and corrosion of a bearing part, not forming sludge by driving, by blending a base oil consisting essentially of a specific carbonic ester compound with a prescribed friction coefficient reducing agent.
This composition is used between an ion injecting face Z1 and a bearing material Z2 in a bearing system for sliding the ion injecting face Z1 of a revolving shaft, in which a metal of the group IVA, Va or VIa of the periodic table and carbon are subjected to direct ion injection to a steel material, on the bearing material Z2. The composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of a base oil consisting essentially of a compound of formula I [R and R' are each a group of formula II ((m) is 0-6; (n) is 3-15)] with (B) 0.3-1.5 pts.wt. of a linear organic polymer compound having 350,000-1,000,000 molecular weight [e.g. a polymer of formula III ((n) is a polymerization degree)] and (C) 0.5-3 pts.wt. of a polyoxyethylene laurylamine.
