Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for internal combustion engine used for an internal combustion engine of a passenger and commercial four-wheel car and capable of achieving excellent fuel consumption performance and wear resistance credibility.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a lubricant composition for internal combustion engine of a passenger and commercial four-wheel car containing a base oil and a polyvalent carboxylic acid derivative having 20 or more carbon atoms, wherein the base oil contains at least one kind selected from poly α olefin, ester-based base oil, a partially hydrogenated mineral oil and gas liquefaction oil, the polyvalent carboxylic acid derivative contains at least an ester compound having 20 or more carbon atoms and contains at least one each of an ester bond and a carboxyl group in one molecule, the percentage content of the polyvalent carboxylic acid derivative is 0.01 mass% or more based on total mass of the lubricant composition for internal combustion engine and high temperature shear viscosity at 150°C of the lubricant composition for internal combustion engine is 1.0 to 2.6 mPa s.SELECTED DRAWING: None
