Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition excellent in fuel saving property, low volatility and low temperature viscosity and capable of achieving both of fuel saving property, low volatility by NOACK and low temperature viscosity at -35°C or less while maintaining high temperature high shear viscosity at 150°C without using a synthetic oil such as a poly-α-olefin base oil or an ester base oil or a low viscosity mineral oil base oil.SOLUTION: There is provided a lubricant composition containing a lubricant base oil which contains a first lubricant component having urea adduct value of 4 mass% or less, kinetic viscosity at 40°C of 14 to 25 mm/s and viscosity index of 120 or more and a second lubricant component having kinetic viscosity at 40°C of less than 14 mm/s with the content of the first lubricant component of 10 to 99 mass% and the content of the second lubricant component of 1 to 50 mass% based on the total amount of the lubricant base oil and a viscosity index improver and has kinetic viscosity at 100°C of 4 to 12 mm/s and viscosity index of 200 to 350.SELECTED DRAWING: None
