To provide a lubricant composition of a roller chain for driving a passenger conveyor, which composition has long life, shows good lubricant performance with a little oiling quantity, causes no problem of oily odor nor pollution problem and is excellent in practical performances.

The lubricant composition of a roller chain for driving a passenger conveyor comprises 100 pts. wt. mineral lubricant base oil or synthetic lubricant base oil, 3-10 pts. wt. polyolefin, 0.1-1.0 pts. wt. acid phosphate ester amine salt represented by general formula (1), and 0.01-0.3 pts. wt. dithiophosphoric acid derivative represented by general formula (2), and has 50-220 mm2/s dynamic viscosity at 40°C. [(R1O)m-P-(OH)n(=O)][NH(R2)2]n (1). (R3O)-P(=S)-S-(CH2)q-COOH (2).
