To provide a lubricant composition applicable to a metallic component having possibility to be exposed to a high temperature of ≥500°C without using a metal such as copper, aluminum and nickel, and boron nitride; and to provide a seizure-preventing agent using the composition, and a sensor with the seizure-preventing agent applied thereto.
The lubricant composition contains ≥2.5 mass% and <60 mass% of a solid lubricant (component A) consisting essentially of graphite, ≥3.3 mass% and ≤67.5 mass% of a lubrication assistant (component B) comprising simple antimony or a compound thereof, and ≥20 mass% and ≤90 mass% of a carrier component (component C). The lubricant composition has excellent seizure-preventing effects, especially the seizure-preventing effects of a metallic component having the possibility to be exposed to the high temperature of ≥500°C, especially an attaching part of subject metal fittings of the sensor.
