Abstract:
To provide a lubricant composition superior in NOx resistance, antioxidation properties, properties of maintaining a base number, and cleanliness, specifically favorably used as a lubricant for an internal combustion engine.
The lubricant composition contains: a lubricant base oil; (A) a 2,2,6,6-tetraalkyl piperidine derivative; and (B) an organomolybdenum compound and preferably further contains at least one kind of compound selected from the group consisting of (C) a hindered phenol-based antioxidant and/or an aromatic amine-based antioxidant; or (D) a phosphorus compound; and metal salts thereof or amine salts thereof.
