Abstract:
To provide a novel lubricant composition having properties (for example, scuffing resistance, copper corrosion resistance, etc.) suitable for lubrication of various mechanisms incorporated in equipment.SOLUTION: A lubricant composition comprises: (A) a base oil; and (B) phosphite ester (B) that has at least one sulfur atom-containing group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms and having at least one -(S)x- group (x is an integer of 1 or greater) between two adjacent carbon atoms in alkyl group structure, where content of a thiadiazole compound is less than 0.05 mass% based on a total amount of the lubricant composition, and kinematic viscosity of the lubricant composition at 100°C is 4.2 mm2/s or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
