To obtain a lubricant composition by blending a base oil of a lubricant with a specific molybdic acid amine salt and molybdenum dithiocarbamate, excellent in low wear properties, low frictionaliy and durability, suitable for an internal combustion engine, an automatic transmission, a shock absorber, etc.
This lubricant composition is obtained by blending a base oil of a lubricant with a molybdic acid amine salt of formula I (R is a 6-15C hydrocarbon) having ≥200ppm molybdenum amount and a molybdenum dithiocarbamate of formula II (R1 to R4 are each a 6-15C hydrocarbon; X and Y are each S or O) and/or a molybdenum dithiophosphate of formula III (R5 to R8 are each a 6-15C hydrocarbon) having 200-700ppm molybdenum amount so as to make the total molybdenum amount ≥400ppm.
